You
are now a certified diver and where should you go with this now? You are
looking in the right direction! PADI has more than 26 specialties to offer
in Continuing Education, and Advanced Open Water is a great choice. As
with any of the other PADI courses, it's a way to stay active in diving,
and opens new horizons for you. There are fifteen specialties you can take
right after Open Water Certification. However, enrollment in the Advanced
Open Water course will open many more doors, especially if you are looking
at pursuing a career in diving.
Advanced Open Water is the steppingstone to Rescue Diver, Dive Master,
Assistant Instructor, and Instructor. You will receive a course manual,
and for the diving phase you will perform 2 core dives, navigation and
deep. You then have the choice of 3 elective dives from a list of 26 specialties,
all conducted under the supervision of one of Tall Pine Scuba's 6 Instructors.
