Discover Scuba is for people ages 10 years and up. Sessions are conducted in a pool or confined beach area no deeper than 20 feet, and under the direct supervision of an Instructor. Prior to entering the water you will go through the PADI flip chart presentation and fill out the necessary paper work. Once we enter the water we teach you the hand signals that will be used to communicate while under water. We will discuss regulator and buoyancy control device use and equalization of your air spaces. Now it is time to take your first breath of air. Once we start moving around in the water, we will probably add some weight so you can keep yourself under water. When we feel you are comfortable enough we will then head into deeper water, but only if you want to. Making sure you have no problems with equalization, you will be on your own while under the watchful eyes of the instructor and his certified assistants. You will probably enjoy playing with our underwater Frisbees or you can pose for a photo of yourself and friends.
