program by PADI is for non-divers as well as divers
and is needed to progress on to becoming a Rescue Diver.
It is composed
of two parts, Primary Care, CPR and Secondary, Care First aid.
The Emergency First Response training also provides training with
an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course is designed
for anyone who would like to learn or update CPR
and
First Aidskills.
The course is approved by U.S. Department of Labor, Mine, Safety and Health
Administration, the U.S. Coast Guard and OSHA requirements are met. Students
that participate are required to be at least 12 years of age. The course
teaches you to be able to help during an emergency situation by giving
first aid treatment and by using procedures that are recommended by the
Journal
