A very exciting course Rescue Diver will introduce you to many aspects of diving and how to notice problems before they actually become one. It will teach you self-evaluation and that of others. PADI Rescue Diver is a great place to begin if you are looking at possibly of joining a Dive Rescue Team, but in no means certifies you in entering some of the hazardous environments that arise when called to the rescue. Rescue Diver Certification is just a start and is needed along with Emergency First Response Certification or a current E.M.T. or First Aid Certification in the progression to Divemaster. Other areas to look at if you want to belong to the areas Rescue Dive Team that will compliment the PADI Rescue Diver Certification is Public Safety Diver Certification and even Ice Diver Certification. After completing the home study we will set up classroom to go over your material then we will head out into the open water to undertake some rescue diving scenarios to build on your confidence.
