Inspecting the City of Eveleths water intake on St. Marys Lake. Spring of 2006 we went into the lake to take video and a few stills of   the water intake. According to the blue print the base of the manifold was at about 30 some feet with the intakes rising to within 18 feet of the surface. On this crisp clear spring morning we entered the water and in no time located the intake screens. after close inspection and a little   chipping at the build up on the bolts it was determined that it was all still in good shape.  We took the video and a few stills and presented it to the city with our observed conclusion.
